Velocity Technology Solutions is expanding and is adding an experienced Business Development Rep - Senior to join our dynamic and highly successful team. We are currently interviewing for an experienced Senior Business Development Rep for our global team. Velocity offers Cloud services across public, private and hybrid cloud environments and is an Advanced AWS partner.

Objective:

Velocity Technology Solutions is looking for a talented Business Development Representative to focus on contacting leads, nurturing leads, and setting appointments to assist our sales team in converting prospects to customers. This position will be working with one or more of our lines of business (Oracle, Infor, SAP, JD Edwards, etc.), and will play a key role in developing our sales pipeline. This position will be tasked with responsibilities related to pipeline growth and expansion of the customer base. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate success in working with the sales team, sales management and marketing to achieve growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will be responsible for conducting cold calls (warm list)

  • Candidate will be responsible for creating and executing marketing and sales campaigns

  • All the activity has to be logged into CRM (salesforce)

  • Candidate will have a quota tied to revenue and pipeline growth.

  • Will be responsible for weekly communication with associated line of business executives reporting on activity, status, pipeline conversion

  • Candidate will have overall responsibility to grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting website traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content.

  • Will be responsible to find new approaches to lead nurturing, including but not limited to channels such as email, social media, blogging, and events

  • Will be responsible for conducting follow-up with prospective customers via email and content representing the interests of the prospect

Job Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent experience

  • 5-7 years of successful experience in this type of role

  • Experience in ERP

  • Proof of previous success in this role

  • Entrepreneurial, high energy, motivated and ability to work independently (remotely in some cases)

  • Keen eye and solid focus on achieving targets.

  • You must ensure that compliance with data protection legislation under the DPA, EU GDPR, any other ​applicable ​data protection legislation​.​
